About Me

CCCSpictureHi, my name is Lois Arndt and my passion is helping you travel on your path to greater health.  My hope is that you will discover tools here that will guide you in that process.

In addition to being a certified Somatic Trauma Resolution (STR) therapist, I am a life-long educator and school counselor with experience in public, private and international education at the preschool through secondary levels.

I am currently combining my education and life experiences into the direction of private practice and consulting with an emphasis on trauma resolution, recovery, and strategies for resilience building.

My journey into the trauma resolution practice is a result of my experience with personal trauma where I had the opportunity to receive Somatic Trauma Resolution (STR) therapy as a part of my healing path. I found the experience so empowering that I  want to share this practice with others. I work with children, teens and adults with many trauma symptoms, but also help individuals  who want to manage stress and transitions with more ease.  I offer personal as well as distance sessions.  (More information under the ‘services’ heading)

With my background in education and trauma awareness, I am passionate about educating others specifically around the role of trauma in behavioral challenges especially at the early childhood level.   I am available to consult with schools and organizations, identifying specific needs and implementing a customized plan for meeting those needs.
